As you may have know from our Feb issue, Reach for a Dream held one of their Fundraising Golf Day’s and luncheon here on the 12th of March, the same day as our Open Day and we are all delighted to say that together we raised R18 500! A BIG thank-you to all of you who were involved to make this day such a success. The money raised on the day will be used to answer the Dreams of many young children; we will be posting more info in our April newsletter! South Africa Wind Energy Programme (SAWEP) held their Convention here for the implementation and status of the Wind Atlas for South Africa project as well as capacity building in assessing, methods, tools, products, wind energy potential and application. Very positive!
Fine Woman – Business Network will be inviting Charlotte Kemp, who is speaking on her experiences as an entrepreneur which led to her writing her bestselling book ‘I am not afraid of the F word’ to their monthly breakfast meeting!

Father and Son Day in conjunction with Logical Golf and Ryan Maron’s Cricket School of Excellence will be held here on Sunday the 11th of April. The afternoon will comprise of Cricket Super Skills, a braai and a 1hr Logical Golf group lesson with a Golf Pro, tickets are R200 per team! This is a fantastic bonding opportunity for Fathers and Sons, (aged between 7-15yrs!) There are goodie bags as well as a Prize giving at the end.
